IIRC,she'd been doing it with the boss since before they married. And she worked with a therapist for a long time trying to get hubby back.
One scene: she goes to hubby's house for dinner or something. When she arrives, hubby and his gf are screwing where she can see. She is able to act calm because Therapist predicted they'd set up a scene like that.
