Yep, you have to follow the # numbers. Any sorting will give the wrong order. I just finished all 5 in the series and #5 Etched in Stone is what made me think it could be close to what joamaa52 is looking for.

yes a good story that I am enjoying except for the constant introspection the mc does...gets very old after awhile...
