Another one lost in the maze

ralord82276 ๐Ÿšซ

Every year it seems that my once sharp memory gets a little duller.
Sigh...
Got another story lost in the mind maze that I am hoping you SOL sleuths can help me identify.
-cheating wife story where originally the cheating was limited to blowjobs cause the wife didn't consider that cheating and although the husband didn't like it, he accepted it.
-the younger brother of the husband comes to stay with them for a while (a week or so I think) and she (in the process of giving him a blowjob) discovers how well hung the little brother is... which leads to her having sex with the little brother. The little brother has a more dominant attitude than the husband and kind of flaunts the cheating in front of his older brother. The wife is addicted to the bigger size of the younger brother and doesn't even try to resist.
-Every time the younger brother visits after that, the affair resumes.
-The wife gets to wondering why the younger brother is so much better endowed than her husband.
-In an attempt to find other "gifted" men that can satisfy her like the younger brother, she seduces various male members of her husband's family including his father.
-IIRC, she discovers that the male over-endowment is in her Mother-in-Law's side of the family... I think the story either said outright or hinted strongly that the younger brother's "gift" was the result of his mother's incestuous affair with her brother.

Usually the SOL sleuths can identify a story on here in a couple of hours, maybe a day...
Sigh...
4 days now with no response at all...

There was an author named Norm de Plume (or Norm de Ploom) who wrote a bunch of stories along that line (don't recall if any of them involved incest or not, but they all involved cuckolding by a dominant male). Don't recall if he was on this site or not, but wherever they were, iirc they got taken down from that site. Haven't seen any of his stories in well over a decade.

I remember his stories - not that I ever read them - and they were here on SOL.

Sorry, wrong author. The guy was Russ Lahr and his stories were housed in some sort of sub-site to a collector's site. The sub-site was called Russ's Lair. Again, where it is now, if it still exists, I have no idea.

@XofDallas

Thank you for trying to help. I don't think that is the author I am looking for (name does not ring the slightest bell). I am pretty sure (around 90%) that I read the story on SOL and it was within the last 4-6 years.

Click on your 'My Account'. Under Account Information there is a 'Access History' button. Click on that and you will have a list of all your past downloads. You might recognize the story from the title. You should have instant access to the story unless it has been deleted.

@sourdough

Firstly, you can also do that by clicking (or right-clicking) on your Nym on the left of the SOL home page, near the top.
Secondly, clicking on "History" there may be a Premier-only feature. I have Premier but occasionally let it lapse so I can see what the differences are, and I think that is one of them.
Mind you, maybe your way of accessing the information works if you don't have premier and mine does not, but I doubt it.

ralord82276 ๐Ÿšซ

@sourdough

Unfortunately, it is a premier only feature with no access under free account and if you had premier at one time and let it lapse then your access history is only saved for a few months and then deleted unless you renew premier. That is what happened to me so I cannot retrieve the info that way. Thank you for the response though.

The first way is barely usable for free accounts, but for no more than 24 hours. It is said to clear and reset every 24 hour but the reset time tends to float some. Mine sometimes resets overnight, sometimes in the late afternoon, and sometimes in mid-morning. I'm not sure how it's calculated.

Nope. It's fixed. Check the 'My Account' page for when it resets for your account.

Thanks! It's nice to KNOW when it's going to reset. I'm old enough to remember I was reading something good yesterday but can't remember what the next morning.

You can always do it my way:
โ€ข do NOT shut down your computer
โ€ข do NOT log-out
โ€ข open any story you intend to read in a new tab of your Browser.
โ€ข Set your Browser to reopen all opened tabs in case it was unintentionally closed (e.g. by Windows shutting down all running programs when performing an update overnight).

I can switch to the tab with SOL's Home Page to see what's new, to read and answer forum posts and then switch back to the tab with the story/book I'm currently reading.

The only problem I've is when I get detracted and start reading another story and then another new story (all in separate tabs), that when I finally come back to the first story I've forgotten most of what I've read already and must go back a chapter โ€“ or more โ€“ to reread those parts to continue with the story.
This usually happens when it's a story in progress and the author selected long intervals (a week or more) between the updates. Waiting for the next installment I start reading another story and continue to read this story even if the other story is finally updated.
Knowing I've to reread part of the story I postpone the reading of this story until there are more chapters ready to read, sometimes I forget about it.
I just counted the tabs with stories I started to read and there are 64 I haven't yet finished but intended to continue reading.

HM.

Is your PC starting to slow down? I bet your browser takes a while to start as well. 64 tabs take up a lot of memory. I do something similiar. I have 11 instances of Firefox alway open with about 30-some tabs spread across them, and Firefox takes a while to start.

@LonelyDad

You could always bookmark the story/page.
Create a SOL group/story under the bookmark to
store the link.

I use a current and done sub-folder and move
the link when I finish the story.

I always maintain a paid premier membership (even though I qualify for premier from my stories), and premier features make all that unnecessary.

It also allows a single click of any story that I can't finish reading in one sitting, just in case it gets removed before I'm done.

I don't understand people having 25, 50, or even more tabs open in one or more browser windows. We're human, we aren't capable of keeping up with so many tabs. That is why bookmarks were invented. The browser even remembers the position on the page for you (if you don't clear everything). It just eats resources you could use otherwise. I rarely go over 10 open tabs and that's only temporary when I'm researching something and want to compare different information sources.
Unless of course you're super- or non-human ;)
