Hello Everyone. I don't have much to go on.

I believe this was in a highschool harem type story. I believe the main scene Im recalling took place in a lunch room.

The Male MC ends up talking with and or taking the "school slut", i think she was rumored to take money for sex, on a date and his friends group shuns him. He finds out not only is she not a slut but a good person.

In the end I think the friend group apologizes and "adopts" the girl.

Sorry its not much to go on, but its been in my head for a few days and I have not been able to get more details.

It's a plot point in Stupid Boy. She is the girl everyone thinks is a slut (Lisa Felton) and something like a third cousin to him. He finds out the truth about her when eating pie at a diner close to the hospital where his Mom is going for her follow up tests from the cancer.

I remember reading similar circumstances in other stories as well though.
