This was a story about a female volleyball/basketball/soccer team where all the girls were tall and muscled thanks to exercise and diet. Several of them have boyfriends who are a lot shorter than them. One of them likes a short boy, and they become a couple. There is a scene where she dines with his family, she's all feminine with a dress and stuff. There is another scene where a fellow teammate tries to grab the boy and he hides behind her. At the end they make love and are happy.

Nope. In this story the boy is short but not a nerd, the team is already established and the girl specifically explains him that their coach trains them with exercise and diet to be really tall and muscular. Also, in a party a rival girl tries to grab the boy and he hides behind the girl. And yes, all the girls have short boyfriends. In the end, it's like a mild femdom story.
