I remember a story, that dealt with an alternate version of the world, and a new religion. Part of the ceremony for that religion was sort of a Great Hunt. Everyone in the church would show up, and the women would run off into the woods. Then the men would follow and chase them. It was a "you keep what you catch" sort of scenario. I think as a part of the storyline the MC was dealing with a cheating wife at the same time. It turned into a harem situation for the MC, if I am not mistaken. LOL. If you can name that tune, you are a legend!
