Hi
This is an unemployed widower(?) with a daughter, he has no money for a Thanksgiving/Christmas turkey and can only buy a small chicken. His daughter asks him to buy a turkey, he tells her he can't afford it, everybody in the store hears it and he's almost crying in humiliation. Then the townspeople help him.
Does anybody remember this story?
