Looking for a series I only made it part way through.
I believed it was called "Becoming a Gigolo"
Set perhaps in the mid west. The male lead has a mother and several half-sisters, his mother cheated on her husband, I think. Each 'story' focuses on one female our MMC 'helps'. Most of them end up with his children, so do his mother and most of the half-sisters, they on the eve of their weddings. He works as a do it all handy man. There's a struggling radio station and a yearly town picnic where the family are judged because of his mother. The adulterous father was shot, I think in the first story for being what he was.
