I think that he was a veteran on the G.I bill. I seem to remember that the 'alien' could convert matter and I think it stayed on the roof of the dorm? I remember him renting a bay from a local mechanic to fix his truck. The 'alien' and the guy converse about how things work on earth. I think that the 'alien' ends up cleaning up a junk yard and 'fixing' old classic cars. Any help would be amazing! Thanks!
