The protagonist is the sidekick of the do over-ee. It starts being about investments in Britain and China, and then moves to being about non-profit organizations in Africa culminating IIRC in forming a large pan African confederacy.

"Magestic" (note: 'g' not 'j') from Geoff Wolak. Available "free" on Kindle Unlimited. Surprisingly not available on Bookapy, which seems like a missed opportunity.
(There is also a "Majestic" story, possibly more than one, available from AMZ. That is a UFO story, which I've never read and cannot recommend for/against. It's the 'g' version that fits your description.)
I think putting a book up on Kindle Unlimited requires not making it available anywhere else.
And if someone else then steals your book and puts it up on another site, Amazon are liable to pull your book.

Just playing devil's advocate:
How distinguish between
'stolen and put on the other site' and
'deliberately put there by you under another pen name to circumvent Amazon's restrictions' ?
HM.
That's the fun one. If someone steals your book and puts it up on Amazon, putting it up on - say - AssTr and then pointing out to Amazon that they don't have an exclusive would seem to be a defence strategy.
