So I've been looking for this one for a while. Don't even remember if I enjoyed it but bits of it popped into my head and it's bugging me. The main part I remember is a guy gets his future memories. He is in high school. He and a couple of friends buy several junk homes not far from a collage for extremely cheap and rebuild them. They were trashed and the city or county was basically giving them away because no one would buy them. There was a lot more to the story than that but that is what stuck in my mind. I want to say he was saving silver because of silver Tuesday which would put it set in the 70's but I could have mixed another story with it for that part.
