a guy wakes up in the hospital. I can't remember if he had an amnesia issue, but he had been caught in an explosion of a house as he was walking by. Throw in a mysterious will, a good-looking female cousin, and I have a vague memory of future knowledge, as well.
If it's the one I remember, he's in town on business and doesn't know he's named in the will. Another relative stands on a gas line in a basement to shoot him and the shot ignites the gas. That was the source of the explosion. He ends up with multiple women and moves back to the Southwest to live. The squib said something like, "They just wouldn't leave him alone."
