I have the series in my library, but I can not find it. There is a cave that has a pond in it. A boy who has been assualted and left for dead finds the cave, and it heals him.

He arrives back home, and takes others in his family back to the cave and once they are all healed, they are sent to a place where they are the rulers of the world or their area anyway.
