This one starts in a bar with a man who has been thrown from his church for getting his CAP card. He meets a woman who has a friend. I don't recall if he's a virgin, but I DO know he's never had beer before this story.

Maybe you could help me two others please?
1. Also in the Swarm Cycle, set in and around an office. There's one woman in it who thinks she's too old for a pickup, but turns up pregnant and so is eligible. She also scores really high.
2. This is a totally separate universe. Main character makes a deal with Lucifer. Set in and around Seattle. It's a HUGE world with many stories in it, and they're all over the place with Lilith, Lucifer, God, angels, all sorts of sex . . . that rings any bells please?

Re: the 2nd swarm cycle story (lady in the office) I can say for certain that it wasn't mine, or Thinking Horndog's or Duke of Ramus.
However I don't recognize it at all, so it is probably one of those in the last 5 years, as opposed to the previous 5 years.
She could be in The Academy, but now this thread has me searching for the story of the brotherhood preacher/layman who got sent to talk to a boy about joining, because he had been thrown out, could be the same story OP is looking for.
PS found - Flight From Babylon by John Lewiston and Steward's Third Mission by John Lewiston, that I mixed in my head.
