Does it get better? I tried reading it but quickly lost interest when he just signs everything away to his cheating wife. Any repercussions on the wife or banker she cheated with?

well, only made it to the end of chapter 2 when his ex, her new hubby and his baby that he didn't know was his show up...
In Junkin Duncan he goes to his uncle's ranch and brings in a fair amount of money with a big barbeque. I am sure I read a story where the MC ran a barbeque business. He had a run-in with some one who thought they were the bees knees and MC wanted a fair amount of costs up front.
