Actually, her last update was 31 Jan 2022.
That is less than a month ago, so authors taking some time off is not unheard of.
Actually, her last update was 31 Jan 2022.
31 December 2022
BTW, I've looked at one of her stories (A Wolf's Rage) and seen no logic in the update intervals:
11.06.22 Ch. 1
04.08.22 Ch. 2
13.08.22 Ch. 3
17.08.22 Ch. 4
09.09.22 Ch. 5
01.10.22 Ch. 6
08.10.22 Ch. 7
28.10.22 Ch. 8
03.11.22 Ch. 9
10.11.22 Ch.10
18.11.22 Ch.11
25.11.22 Ch.12
08.12.22 Ch.13
19.12.22 Ch.14
29.12.22 Ch.15
31.12.22 Ch.16
Shortest interval 2 days, longest 54 days (Ch.1 to Ch.2).
There were 3 other longer intervals:
Ch.4โ5 23 days
Ch.5โ6 21 days
Ch.7โ8 20 days
It's now 28 days, probably nothing to worry about.

I looked at her Patreon page and there seems to be at least two more chapters of A Wolf's Rage as of 31.12.2022:
Chapters 17 and 18. She announced the next chapter for 4.1.23. Her latest post was yesterday.

If those are the dates, that makes it three days short of a year
Brain fart, I meant to type December.
Plea tell me she hasn't become 1 of those who start here and then drop it just to get paying readers.

Yeah, disgusting. Just because you got so good at something you can now sell it as a product, doesn't give you the right to no longer give it to me for free!!!1!!11!!one!!!

Seriously, maybe she's just keeping it exclusive on her patreon for a while before releasing the chapters here as well. But if she doesn't... not much you can complain about.

Them's the rules I think, she has to post them here eventually. I can understand that rule, but it has driven several authors away from this site.

The rule only applies on an individual story basis. There is no rule against having some stories here and other stories on a pay site somewhere else.
I think the value of having authors here that are unwilling to comply with the rules as they are is questionable at best.

Completely agree. There is absolutely no merit for either site.
You can, right now, post your stories here, while offering your paying readers early access to future chapters, as well as exclusive access to work that won't find its way here. All you have to do is stay within two installments of what you post for your paying readers (e.g. CH1 on SOL -> Ch2+3 on patreon). That alone would promote your paysite.
You are then free to stop posting newer work here, but what would that achieve? Finding an author who's been inactive for a year or so, because they stopped posting free stuff, will simply make me think they stopped writing. Even if I find their paysite, I'm not watching a movie without watching a trailer first, so I won't pay for your story unless I had a teaser. In short, their patron-count will stagnate, unless they're SO good at writing, they get picked up and published officially elsewhere.

Since the discussion has focussed in on one story - A Wolf's Rage - that was my point.
Taking a relatively harmless example of a story withdrawn from this site: An author - let's call her GMW - had a story - let's call it S&M - here and on some other sites such as AssTr, S&M was incomplete. Then GMW founded her own (free) site and - years later - completed the story, but only on her own site. Lazeez then re-uploaded the entire story here, something which really upset GMW.
Now she has updated the entire story and is in the process of uploading it to her own site, she has removed it here so as to give Lazeez no cause to post it here.
Speaking strictly for myself, I felt the ending she tacked on did not really fit with the rest and that the unfinished version was better. Not knowing what her new version is about I can't comment on it.
