At least, I was pretty sure it was canonical MORFS, but I'm not finding it in the universe nor by searching for it by that keyword. I read it a couple years ago, so details are hazy.
Protagonist is a girl, teenager, who through an illness transforms into a wolfwoman. In her new form, she has, ah, anger management issues, and at the end of the story she is on the run avoiding arrest. There was a part 2 set a few years later, when she returns to her hometown, which I haven't read but is the story I actually started looking for. But now I want both.
