Another Lost Story Driving Me Crazy

TBH I do not remember much about this story... I don't even remember if I read it on SOL or on another site. But if anyone recognizes it, I would really appreciate the help as it has been driving me crazy trying to remember.

Details: Romantic story, not sex oriented (may have sex in it but that is not the plot of the story). Female lead is in an orchestra...think she plays flute but it may be violin. At some point in the story, she is trying for "first seat" for her instrument and her romantic partner "helps" by trying to distract her while she is practicing.

I know that isn't a lot to go on but it is all I can remember...that is what has been driving me crazy..lol.

PS It is NOT Melodic Redemption by Oyster50 ...or any of his other stories. Though I do seem to remember that the story has the same "feel" to it as an Oyster50 story.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

SmokinDriver " Hindsight 20/20 Book 2 " Chapter 51 The girl is Darcy. The hero spends some time in San Francisco and observes her playing in the Orchestra in a previous chapter. Probably chapter 50.

Thank you but I know it is not Hindsight 20/20... I am very familiar with that series. That is what is driving me crazy about the story I am looking for...I normally have a very good retention for storyline details even if I only read the story once (might not remember the author or title but usually remember quite a few details) so to only remember basically one scene of the story is extremely unusual for me.

I think it's one by StangStar, though which one escapes me for now! He was a banker I think, who went on tour with the orchestra to go over the books, and found wife was cheating while he was away.

To be honest, this does not sound like it would be the story I am looking for. While I am coming up short on remembering details, I am pretty sure that the MC was not married. However I will read the story to be sure. Thank you for the suggestion.

"First seat" is normally named first chair, do a quick search on "first chair" with the quotes there are less than 10 matching.

I was thinking of that story too, but if memory serves in it the MC was male, and he was being distracted by friends. Still, it could be the one the OP was asking about.
