There are not many good lotto stories out there, anyone know of a good one?

Castle in the Sand, Deanna Johns - if you can find it. Starts with a lottery win and meanders off into the distance.
Added: I've just found it at
http://sucs.org/~cmckenna/transfer/DJcastle/
as a set of text files; looks like it's complete.
Also, it was #2 Classic Clitoride 2004

The girls mentioned in this chapter and for the rest of the story had won a huge amount on the Lottery so they owned their home and had a lot saved - a parallel to the MC later.
The lottery win is an aside - not an important part of the story
The Lottery Winner, aka The Lottery by Roger Plowman, aka Wolf. If you can find it. Incomplete, I've seen up to chapter 46.
Christmas Surprise by GoldenMage.
Winning Numbers by Lazlong.
Tycoon by Raven Soule (incomplete).
Good Times Rolling by BulletProof.
I Won? by sourdough (incomplete).
Tycoon by Rave Soule (incomplete).
Tycoon was a great story, I was disappointed when Rave (Rave or Raven?) started losing track of the story and I'm sad it was never satisfactorily completed.
Another of my favorites, which was yanked because he planned to publish a book which never got off the ground, was "I Won a Spaceship". However, it's no longer available.

Damn, I enjoyed that one, and it dates from before I'd save stories I enjoyed. OTOH, I've had three or four computers crash-and-burn since, so I probably would have lost it anyway.

How about http://www.amazon.com/I-Won-Spaceship-Harrison-Park-ebook/dp/B005GAJ5AA ?
Looks like the one I remember reading a long time back. But definitely out of my price range in either edition.

I actually have a copy of it, if you're interested. Like you, I lost my copy due to HD failures, but someone kindly offered me theirs on the assumption I already 'owned' my own private copy, but offering it to new readers is a clear copyright violation.
Send me a private email via my Author 'respond to' form and I'll send it along.
@samuelmichaels
Thanks for the link. The last time I looked, the author hadn't actually published the book. I wouldn't mind spending the money to see whether he's improved (i.e. edited) the story any.
For a decent story, that's not a bad price.
Happy Hugo has a fun short story you should enjoy: https://storiesonline.net/s/64450/scratch-tickets-and-lotteries
