Rhythm and the Blue Line by PennLady

Is it time for me to write up something about another favorite I don't see mentioned here often, to give it more attention? Yes, it is. This time it's Rhythm and the Blue Line by PennLady.

This one's a quiet romance of inexperienced young adults with divergent careers and commitment phobias, but who are nonetheless drawn to each other. Hot and sweet, and both the hockey and music, and the leads' commitments to them, are well-handled. Not all of PennLady's stories fire on all cylinders, but this one does, making it one of the best new adult romances I've read on SOL. My one disappointment is that Ryan's awful family never gets the dressing down they so richly deserve.

Others tales by the author I recommend include the short story Nothing Gets Through, which is another hockey tale, this one with a goalie, and her two most recent romance novels, posted after several years off, Worth the Effort and Altering the Plans.

Quasi says check it, and the others, out. (And no, please don't call me that. Only my brothers Pseudo and Semi get to, and that's only because I can't stop them.)
