If you missed it one of my favourite authors on SOL has returned after along spell away.

It seems to have been almost exactly 10 years, time flies. "Some Kind of Hero" rather put me off his work, as the review of the story said:

Technical: 'Sea-Life' is a pretty darn good writer, but a pretty lousy self-editor.

The rest of his work was better, much better.
