I've found that if you just go through the FTP portal you will have better luck finding any remaining authors.
The ASSTR author stories I look for most and can find them, thank god, is Karen Blayne. Particularly her Regency stories are worth a look.

You can use the ftp site but a simple Google search gives you the webpage.
Mostly the 'retired' pages via their WayBack Machine.
No it doesn't. The search I suggested brings you to a current webpage with the last story posted on July 9 of this year.
