I've struck out a few times with the 'volunteer' editor section of the site. Had two, both have gone radio silent for a few months now, not even a reply to progress messages.
Though do have one good collaborator helping me with my first 'series' that I'll start after getting my first two stories out the door. That will be a major exercise and we've been in contact for a little while getting the early pieces together. don't expect an actual posting till next year though.
My current stories are at 50K words or 70 pages and nearing completion. maybe 10K or so to go. 20K at most.
one is brother sister one is father daughter and I'd love to have someone actually read them before they go live.
An actual editor would also be great but right now I need someone to read and give feedback before I go to the trouble of re-drafting again and again.
