I'm a fan of Lubrican stories. I like how he takes a truism and applies it to a particular story. I like how he weaves in tidbits of ranching or whatever job a character has, teaching me something about how that job works. He weaves his characters in such a way that I care what happens to them - THE key to whether I like a story.
I have only read a few of his stories. I'd like recommendations (assume I've haven't read any) of stories of Lubrican that you like - and what's in that particular story that makes it likeable.
Thanks in advance.
