Pretty much, Arlene never cheated on Jeff, so she's going to have a hard time doing so again.
Her mother, Diana, is another matter.

Arlene is the daughter. Diana is the wife. And, of course, Arlene also becomes one of the wives. As does the grandmother, and a lot of OTHER women.
When we are writing about Arlene and Jeff, I stopped reading it some time ago because nothing important happened there - except all the time adding new faces and new sub-plots.
And that only reminds me to soap-operas in worst meaning ...
So, is there anything really new there that should say:
