A.A.Nemo's 'A Lodi Christmas'

I know this has been discussed before, but how long after a the start of a new story is posted is the minimum interval before an update will appear in the 'Serials Updated' list?

The second chapter of this story was posted on SOL about 18 hours after the first, but it wasn't reported in the updates.

(I actually read it on FineStories, where it was reported in the updates.)

I think it has to do with an update within 24 hours of the initial post. The system sees it as a "fixed re-post" instead of the extra chapter it was and thus doesn't report it as an update.

I'm trying to recall the previous thread - I thought I remembered someone saying it was less than 24 hours but I couldn't remember the conclusion.
