Editing my Reader Comment?

o_rios2013 ๐Ÿšซ

I posted a comment at the end of a story. After I hit the Post button I spotted a typo. I replied to my own post with *corrected text* and posted it. Then, horror of horrors, I saw another error. Darn!

A better solution would be to Edit my post and make all the corrections. Yes, I know the best solution is to proofread my posts BEFORE hitting Post. But second to that, I'd like to edit my own comments.

Is there a way to do that?

I agree. You can't delete your own comments, either. Which seems sort of silly.

I fell foul of this the other day. I replied to a reader comment, then after posting realised that I had commented about one story on a completely different story comments section... Doh! I had to to request comment deletion before my stupidity caused chaos.

Not currently, AFAIK.

In the short term, you could e-mail management and ask them to sort it out for you.

For the long term, you could post an enhancement request to the 'Bug Reports and Feature Requests' forum.

awnlee,

That's a good idea. Thanks. I'll give it a try.
