I probably have to start re-reading with DMan 1. It's a very good story so that's hardly a punishment.
When I catch up again there are a hopefully a few more chapters for DMan 3 ;)
It's great to know that a few very good but unfinished stories still have a chance to be completed.
Funnily enough, I just completed re-reading the dman1/2/3 in the last month so this was a great surprise!

I know many (most) people won't agree, but I like the way Cold Creek has reined-in the ultra-Mary Sueish aspects. I think it's a better story for Kiera's character being given the time for proper development.
Still, they'd better jump into bed at some point ;)

Yeah, AJ, but I don't care for how he handled the situation with the latest group of ladies, especially Asuka. It was totally out of character for her. I suppose you could find excuses for Liz and Willow, but even then, it was pushing the boundaries of their characters to have them act in such a manner. No way Asuka would have acted (or in this case, not acted) as she did.
It really is an enjoyable series, but I think CC needs to figure a way to right the ship with these characters (especially Asuka). I can think of several viable (if not, completely satisfactory) ways to accomplish this, that will allow the characters to resolve the issues and move on in a reasonable way. I figure CC should be able to figure it out too.
The big thing is that Mike doesn't need to reset his life every time something blows up on him. That has been the tactic that Cold Creek has used so far, but I think that most readers don't need Mike to have new girlfriends all the time for us to continue to enjoy the story.
I think it would be amazing to see the list of emails he must have gotten to force a new chapter to come out. I'd lie to see the amount so I know that next time I will need to write twice as many. I know my emails would be featured prominently and that's just because I have an awfully high opinion of myself. Tee Hee.
Edit: Last night I was thinking it would be a great thing if Cold Creek would post a new chapter. Of course, I said it to myself as I was drifting off but I think it counts!

Personally, I figured he was getting enough hassle fro the rest of you. I decided to just wait and hope.
Thought: Try to be nice about his return, not snarky about how long it took. Enough of some of these prior posts and he might just take his ball and go home again.
