I've got an interesting dilemma. In an upcoming story (still a long ways off), I have a pseudo-incest story in the center of the plot (brother and sister raised since babies discover they were both adopted and aren't related at all.

Since the story revolved around how these characters have some peculiar abilities, it's clear there's more going on that just siblings developing an interest in each other.

My question is, since I've got a following on FineStories, where's the line on incest as a plot device. Can I mention the complications, and that the siblings are drawn to each other for purely biological (DNA) reasons (after I remove all the sex scenes), or is that pushing the envelop too far and I shouldn't post pseudo-incest stories to FS?

I guess this is more a question for Lazaar (and Amazon, since they strictly forbid any stories dealing with incest).

This will once again cause me to rant as to how unfair Amazon and most mainstream companies are -- what the little guy (us) can do vs the big guy (e.g. Hollywood or a big publisher).

Did you see the movie "August: Osage County"? Big production just by who's in it -- Meryl Streep, Julia Roberts, Chris Cooper, any many more big names. In the story, there's a relationship between 1st cousins. That's incest. As it turns out, they're actually half brother and sister.

That book is for sale on Amazon (what happened to the no incest rule?). That book was made into a big production Hollywood movie. That book contains incest.

Personally, if there's no graphic content and only referenced I'd not have an issue, but it's Lazeez you need to talk to.
