Batman: Arkham City Chronicles

allenknott3 ๐Ÿšซ

Looking for some feedback regarding my first adult story, Batman: Arkham City Chronicles: https://storiesonline.net/s/16353/batman-arkham-city-chronicles

It currently has an overall rating of 6.23 but I hadn't really gotten any type of feedbacks.

Thanks,
Allen

You should probably turn comments on or at least allow SOL Mail available for contact under your author name.

As far as my take, I found it a tough read because it is dense with explanations of backstory. As I'm not familiar with the game the story is based upon (but certainly with the character, albeit years removed), it really isn't my type of story.

That is part of the danger of doing fanfic. Many times it is better to create your stories with your own characters and plots to give readers a clean slate. Otherwise, you might get more feedback from an Batman: Arkham City game fan site (of course I may be wrong and simply turning on reader comments or providing a way of contacting you might give you what you want, lol).

Anyway, as I haven't finished it, I can't say more than it's not badly written thus far (at least as I've been able to read), just not my cup of tea.

Thank you for the reply. First, I'm not sure on how to turn comments on or allow SOL mail.

I'm not concerned with the fanfiction aspect since I like Batman so much. Thank you for taking the time to read my story. I will try and figure out how to turn-on the comments along with the SOL Mail.

First, I'm not sure on how to turn comments on or allow SOL mail.

SoL Home Page -> select the Authors / Editors link -> on the Authors and Editors Resources page select the Manage Stories link -> on the next page there's a bunch of buttons on the top and one of them is Turn Comments on for all which you click on to activate the comments for all of your stories (note: there is another way you can do it for individual stories by selecting them).

From the Authors and Editors Resources page you can select the Edit Prefs/Profiles link to go to the Edit Pen Name page and near the bottom of the form you can select the Feedback is Desired link to get mail via the feedback form.

@Ernest Bywater

Thank you. It said Comments was public for the two stories I had already posted.

The title and volume sets it into a sub-niche. Erotica/superheroes/batman etc. I can't see it drawing a large audience due to its own self imposed categorization.

Due to that, I expect you'll likely draw a limited viewership as well as the inherently limited reviews. If you're writing as a pass time it's no problem, but if your looking for a large audience, you'll have to expand your horizons on the next one.

Full disclosure; Im one of those people that never got into batman, even as a child. Such stories don't do much for me as a result.

@Remus2

I'm writing because I love it and I just want to tell the best stories can I, regardless of if's Batman, Mass Effect, or anything else.

For me personally, Batman had always been part of my life. I had a difficult childhood and find comfort in reading/watching Batman.

If it works for you, run with it. At least you're trying.

@Remus2

Thank Remus2.

I asked because recently on another website, a handful of users was super negative of my story, and since I personally feel like I'm trying to tell an actual story with a plot and sex instead of just a stroke story. I was looking for some feedback.

Thank again.
