Best Sister Ever

Wheezer ๐Ÿšซ

Just a free, unsolicited plug for the author: :D
(from the story description)
Synopsis: When Martin's life falls to pieces, his sister Kate comes to his rescue. She practically drags him to London, where he is cast for a commercial. From that point on, his life will never be the same. But as Great Britain falls in love with his character, an enigmatic butler called Carstairs, an inexperienced Martin falls in love with the wrong woman. A moving story with romance, sex and LOTS of laughs.

Ron Dudderie is the author, and if you haven't started reading this serial, I really recommend it.

Ron is posting weekly installments on SOL. No worry about it falling into the incomplete/inactive list as the story is complete, along with two completed sequels. I became impatient with waiting for the free weekly installments, so went to his website and bought all three. :D Money well spent, IMHO. Although I love reading for free, if the story interests me enough, I will pay for it.

remind us when he finishes posting it - I don't start uncompleted works, nor do many others.

The story IS complete, as I stated. I suppose Dudderie could be abducted by aliens or keel over of a heart attack, or some such, and not finish posting. Otherwise, not a problem. He's not posting it as he writes it. Simple solution - buy the e-books like I did. I have read all three books already.

You said "... if you haven't started this serial, ..." which automatically implies it's an in progress story because it's a serial and not a finished story.

because you said the story is complete I checked the author's webpage and it shows as in progress thus not complete on SOL.

@Ernest Bywater

Complete, as in written and edited - yes.

I look at waiting for a story to be posted because the author is still writing it, and waiting for a story to be finished posting because the author chooses to post a finished story in installments as two separate things. The first is very chancy and runs a risk of the author not finishing it. The second - it's just a matter of getting frustrated waiting for the next installment. Thus, I bought it. Each to his own.
