So I thought that Second Chance started out like a kind of sweet taboo true love story.
Then life just keep on shitting on MC. Like seriously shitting him over and over again. I'm now 50 chapters in and about everything bad that can happen has happened to him, and every woman has to leave him for one reason or the other.
Does he find someone more permanent like in the beginning (i keep hoping Beth will come back with her own 'second chance' that would allow them to be together without the taboo, but that might be farfetched.) and does the the spirit and sweetness of the beginning return? I've honestly spent more time in tears for the poor guy than aroused, and I want to know if it's going to keep being miserable with short affairs with women he doesnt really love, so that I might pick up something else in that case. Thanks for any insights!
