Argon has a couple. They come out okay in the end, but there is a lot of heartbreak in the middle.

Do a category search for romantic and tearjerker and see if any of the descriptions float your boat.

I'm in the process of writing one, in a break from my main meme of writing 'searching for the truth' sci-fi stories. It features a tryst/breakup/marriage to another person/subsequent reunion theme. Unfortunately, after having put it on the shelf indefinitely (and only recently resuming it), it'll be a while before it appears.
By the way, are you searching for Romance and heartbreak stories, or stories containing both romantic and heartbroken themes (a sort of bitter-sweet romance)? If it's the second, does it matter whether the romance is with the same person vs. a new person?
