Then do like the rest of us do, if you liked it, just write your own version of it. SOL does allow authors to finish others existing works, but it most cases, it's better just rewriting the entire story in your own words so the authors' writing styles don't conflict.
There are two stories that I wish the author would have finished:
1 - Jenny's Uncle by Jenny Rosario
2 - Helping the Babysitter Become a Model by Not My Story (I am assuming someone not the author posted it on this site and I forget who the originator was)
There are many "classics" I'd love to see finished or continued (see Jay Cantrell), but a relatively newer work I'd love to see finished is The Pretty Girls by MyBestFriendForever. It was off to a great start.

I hear ya! Just finished reading the Andy and Regan stories (no idea how may times now) and would love to read about their "Euro vacation".
