@Dipoki4783Ehh, there's always been a heavy anti-gay tendency on SOL (mostly from the guys, as just like men prefer stories about lesbians, women tend to prefer tales of randy gay men (now Japanese staple).
So, there are more of those now, yet the ratings will always reflect that same, same-sex reader aversion.
There's nothing saying someone won't take a stab at it or know a relevant story, yet posting one on SOL is a bit more problematic.
(I've written one gay-sex story, honoring my deceased brother's main issue within the gay community, and it was generally well received, yet it still had more 1-votes than any of my other stories.)
That said, the other issue is that very few people will actually change their sexual persuasion for someone else, as they're either gay or they're not. They may lay somewhere on the spectrum (more or less gay), yet unless they're already practicing, it takes much more to force the issue.
Again, I basically spend much of my life surrounded by the gay community in NYC, until AIDS wiped out every single one, but one, which is pretty devastating.
That's all besides the point, the main point is that SOL is not a gay-friendly site. It's allowed, and there are more stories than ever, yet they're still not well-received, nor are they well-written, which only further harms their reputation on the site.
