I've been enjoying the System of the Beast Slayer story and following the comments. Interestingly today someone posted in comments about the story being nearly an exact duplicate of a FanFiction story and asked author to acknowledge the source https://www.fanfiction.net/s/14297964/1/THE-DIVINE-HUNTER
Then a few hours later the comments section got turned off.
The chapters appear identical.
There is a link included in the the fanfiction text to another site* where the story is posted by Reaper Scans, I assume a scanlation group working on foreign language web novels. That site calls the story an ongoing Chinese novel & has a cover with Chinese only text. There are 638 chapters there vs 600 on FF and 96 here.

The original commenter did mention it was a translation of a Chinese story.
I have enjoyed the posting on SOL, and there are a few tiny differences but Caffeinated Tales should at least acknowledge their source material.
Maybe he didn't like being accused of plagiarism.
If the accusation is true, then it should be brought to Laz's attention and the account removed in entirety.
I suspect quite a number of new authors are posting translations of stories originating from the Far East. Two separate stories by different authors that I read chapters of this morning appear to have identical game system origins.
