Anyone know if the author posted the part 3 of the trilogy? Was trying to message him but couldn't figure out a way to do that either!

RS has not been really good about communication here for some time. I got his permission to write a continuation of his "Magic 101" some time ago, and I have not heard that he is either reading or writing anything new.
I agree that a writer of his talent is sorely missed from here.
That is a very bad sign.
It is not that long ago that he was reasonably active here in the forum, but now his "email" icon has vanished and that either means he wants it that way (unlikely) or he has not visited this site for one year.
@mcmasterse
I haven't posted the 3rd, it sits incomplete in my drafts folder... sorry.
Still alive, email from the site turned off because I had a couple of people spamming my inbox with nonsense and I got tired of a bunch of email every time I logged on.
@jjmcdonald
I hate reading in installments, so I usually bookmark and download. I know I read the first couple of chapters because you sent them to me for comment, but after those, I went back to default. I did download, will read it and give you my final thoughts. You have my email address if there is something specific.

Thank God you are alive. I was afraid you had vanished into the Ether. I look forward to hearing from you and getting your Critiques. Yes, I did change Hank a bit. Because of a friend I had in the 1960s and 1970s who suffered the same loss I attributed to Hank. His father had provided an amazing Code of Conduct to him growing up, and as such this kid had a fifty year old brain in his sixteen year old body. Please send me e-mail. I am not sure I have yours still.
