Saw an obituary for a Todd Dorsey. Was he Todd172. The date of his passing was close to his last posted story.

Where did the obit say he had been living?
Edit: If it's the one in Kansas who died in November 2022, forget it - there's no way that is todd_d172.
Oh, and I sent todd_d172 a PM alerting him to this thread so we may get a response here along the lines of "Rumors of my death . . .".
Todd's still out there, have exchanged greetings on Messenger. I might or might not have considered pleading for another storyβ¦.
Todds the only odd timer worth reading anymore. All the others have gone to AI creation since the covid shutdown.
still want my delaney t shirt
Princess Glittersparkle!
And, the next post,
Makes me thinks your posts areβ¦.. AI generated.
...Maybe 'No Human Intelligence used'
It's taking me longer to write Knox #3 than I thought, but thankfully, I haven't gone the AI route...
You have an interesting preoccupation with the use of AI on this site. This is twice in the last 2 minutes I've read a comment from you that everything on the site is AI generated. Makes me thinks your posts areβ¦.. AI generated.
Oh, wonderful. AI social media influencers. There's a concept we need. Then again, I've long thought that any intelligence shown my most "social media influencers" (in quotes for a reason) was completely artificial, when it was exhibited at all.
There are already YouTube style vids completely created by AI, including the gaping mouth soyboy presenter. This is not the dystopia I was promised as a child.
Hey, I resemble the remark, yet I'm still at it, I'm just much, much slower, yet I've never once resorted to AI, though whether that's for good or ill, someone else will have to decide..
Saw the activity in this thread, but sadly Todd (the initial subject) seems to have gone out of contact, for reasons unknown. A writer of great stories much appreciated. Hoping he might return and surprise us one day!
See the initial post, as that's a fairly definite, second-hand statement.
Which is why I much prefer gently teetering into obscurity, rather than just vanishing altogether. But, if wishes were horses, even starving, drooling simpletons could get a lift, somewhere.
I've long been a master of playful mixed metaphors, as I can write humor to save my life. Not that this is the greatest example, just that I loving twisting them up (i.e. it works better in stories than in random online posts).
