Most of Twassel's stuff is short stories while Six Times A Day is 4 MW.
There are longer stories tagged as Illustrated. Some may only contain a single image.
I did a quick search and found 1680 Illustrated stories on SOL, but over a thousand come from Mat Twassel and a couple others with similar length. Of the remainder, many are short or incomplete.

My more recent stories I am using AI/photoshop in combination to create unique visuals for the story with a caption to help enhance the story.
As I learn new techniques such as inpaint and upscale, the pictures get better and better.
It's actually become more fun than writing.
As long as you're having fun, that's the important thing. And since you're both making the art yourself and writing longer stories you can argue that it's all part of the same creative process.
The only story of yours that I've read wasn't an illustrated one, but I did glance over one when I made this list and noticed the illustrations were mostly being used as chapter headers. Nothing wrong with that, but to me that isn't really the same as an illustrated story.
I'm picky, though. Don't go by me.
When I did that, I didn't know that you could plant the images in the middle of the chapters and I didn't want to make it difficult for the admin to do.
However, they assured me it's fine. I still keep it to usually one captioned picture and no more than 3 pictures per chapter.

Since you mentioned STAD, SpacerX recently posted that he was in the process of producing realistic AI replacements for the "classic" illustrations.
Since most of the characters are under 18, I don't know how he'll get around the SOL an on images of characters under 18.
