Demigod of War

Zlysium ๐Ÿšซ

Does anyone know anything about whether the Author is posting this somewhere else or if it will ever be finished? It's one of the top novels on the site but sadly seems to have been forgotten and the author hasn't replied to any messages. Hopefully the community knows something (hopeful emoji)

I am as Hopeful as you are. As I recall, the author did post an intent to continue, however, that was before (or at the very beginning of) Covid-19. As I recall, the pause in posting was caused by a job change, not a health issue; it seems to be one of the "younger" (40's to 50's) writers, so I am hopeful.

I really enjoyed the story, and I hope for more, not just the continuation of Demigod of War.

Cheers!

Yeah I've tried scouring the internet to try and find a trace of them elsewhere but Mad Wolf and Demigod of War are not search terms you can easily use. If a patreon or something could be found that would be the best. Messaging him on this website or his deviantart page has yielded no results. But the last we've heard directly from Mad Wolf was 694 days ago. I was really hoping someone in the community knew more ;(

I just tried a search for
"Mad Wolf" "Demigod of War"
and the results are all here or references to here, but that probably wouldn't find a posting under a different name. Try doing a search with a quoted fairly distinctive phrase from the story; it may find postings elsewhere.

...but this author page still shows an email link, so he's visited the site within the last year.

That's the point, is that I've done extensive searching and only found references to the story in 2 locations. One is here and the other is the map hosted on deviantart.

Regarding this email link however, I wasn't aware that the mere existence of the link is proof positive that the author has visited the website within the last 365 days. Even if that is that case it doesn't refute what I said. If someone else has received a reply from the message system then I hope they can share the good news here, I haven't though.

Well, the author, or someone who they gave access to the email linked to their SOL account.

In previous statements, the author of DGoW indicated they are middle age (young compared to most SOL writers), and due to circumstances was too busy to write.

That (presumably) they are still logging into SOL is a hopeful sign. However, it is not proof positive.

Fans of the story indicating interest in the story, without harassing the writer seems to be the best course of action.

Even though that's a good idea, don't worry. No one will listen to it. (Looks at my own inbox, while shaking my head.)

Someone here on the SOL Forum, a long time ago told me to copy and paste the first sentence or two from the story into a search engine. If the story is posted somewhere, it will find it.
