Clit Strumming

awnlee jawking ๐Ÿšซ

192 SOL stories contain 'strummed her clit'.

Is this a real thing, or is it one of those biologically inaccurate cliches that nobody questions in sex stories?

A clit is a miniature counterpart of the penis. I remember a dead-tree novel in which a female protagonist used the penile equivalent of clit-strumming in order to thwart ejaculation.

'strummed her clit'

Like a banjo? Why not? Gently, of course. And not if she's overly sensitive.

Like a banjo? Why not?

If you do a lot of banjo strumming, even gently, don't you develop calluses on your fingers? I find it hard to believe that a sensitive little organ would appreciate being manipulated in a way to give the manipulator calluses.

But then some men (not me!) would enjoy having their testicles strummed by a table tennis bat, so there's no accounting for taste.

If you do a lot of banjo strumming

It's a metaphor.

Like "He mauled her breasts." He didn't tear them or cause pain. It's metaphorically showing his animal lust or urgency.

It's a metaphor.

Now that I can understand.

A very good question, though i've been more partial to "touching her clit like a horny telegraph operator during the world's first sext message." :P

"touching her clit like a horny telegraph operator

As long as it's not 3 short taps, 3 long taps, and then 3 short taps.

let's see "strummed" is as follows:
verb
play (a guitar or similar instrument) by sweeping the thumb or a plectrum up or down across the strings.

So i suppose it's a valid phrase :P

- Lightly abraded
- Thumb wrestled

Can we talk about awkward orgasm triggers? One i recently thought up was if my male mc came hard enough to put the puppet from "the happytime murders" to shame upon hearing flute music during a blow job? :P

KimLittle ๐Ÿšซ

@blackjack2145309

Believe I have read somewhere "came so hard they farted" and I do for sure remember reading something on usenet eons ago about someone needing to check their teeth fillings hadn't melted.

the puppet from "the happytime murders"

I have no idea what that is but music often plays a part in sex scenes. Bo Derek and Bolero!

Is this a real thing, or is it one of those biologically inaccurate cliches that nobody questions in sex stories?

It is real, at least in as much as many women enjoy sustained stimulation to be pleasurable. Strummed aka rubbed is a viable description. But. For many women direct contact with the clit is NOT pleasurable, they prefer such stimulation to be applied indirectly via the clit hood instead.

Everyone is different so what one finds pleasurable another will not. Added to which what is highly pleasurable when fully aroused is often not at all welcome when only mildly aroused.

The art is being able to read your partner and know what to do and when to do it in order to increase arousal and to sustain it. A good writer also needs to know this, as well as knowing which words or phrases to use when describing the actions.

Note to AJ. Stop worrying about which words to use and just go practice licking your eyebrows...

Roberta Flack sang "Strumming my pain with his fingers...." Maybe she was complaining about the pain "he" caused when he strummed her clit a bit too enthusiastically. Every lover I've ever had preferred a very gentle touch on their clitty and most only wanted it at the point of orgasm. Maybe that why later in the song Roberta sang "...killing me softly...."

That may be more of a play on the French term for orgasm, la petite mort, for which the literal translation is the little death.
