Slut

PotomacBob 🚫

Is it okay to call any woman a slut?
If a character refuses to call any woman a slut, is that subject to criticism for political correctness?
Does the definition of a slut not only include that she sleeps with many partners, but also that she does so without any emotional involvement?
If only a woman can be called a slut, what's the term for a man who does the same?

Man-whore is a word for the male version. Personally, I referred to myself as a slut when I was young and single. I was always open for business, so to speak. I used to say: "As long as she is above the age of consent I don't care if she's single, married, separated, or divorced. As long as I think she's at least reasonably attractive and she is willing I'm available."

Also, I respect an honest slut. I think society should value them. Do you realize how many people would never or almost never get laid if it wasn't for sluts?

Some people take pride in the term and others act like they are offended. If you call a co-worker a slut you would probably get fired if HR overhears you. It doesn't matter if the co-worker agrees with you or not.

also, a romantic intention is usually not wanted or intended. I feel you are obligated to always treat the person you are slutting with at the moment with basic human dignity and respect before and after the fact.

As a general rule, no its not normally OK to call a woman a slut. Though some women often do just that.

It has nothing to do with PC either.
Refusal to call someone that is no different than not calling them a whore, SOB, bitch, or any other such words.
