I just read a post in lost stories that she is back on the site with a different handle.
Does anyone have the new name?

I think it's a mix up.
From why and how she left, I doubt that Randi will post on SOL or any WLPC site ever again.
I believe that is my fault. I saw a Blog that referenced a topic in the Forum about BlackRandl1958 posting as BlackRandi1958 with a lower-case i.
I followed a link in that Forum post to another Forum post that including a posting by BlackRandi1958 that was just before she left SOL. (I misread the date).
There was another Post about Jay Cantrell, who according to secondhand information will be posting again in 2022. I conflated some of these posts, and misread a date...
resulting in my posting a comment in the Forums. I do not contribute to Patereon, but it does seem that Jay Cantrell may finally have a story that may be posted on SOL in 2022.
I seem to have been mistaken that Randi might post too. You, oldgrump have better knowledge of Randi than I do. It seems I added to the confusion and apologize.
If you know where any of her writing could still be found I would appreciate a PM.
I would also love to see more of BlackRandi's writing and if she is posting elsewhere would appreciate a PM. Also thrilled to hear the rumor that Jay Cantrell is possibly going to post in 2022. He was one of the first authors I discovered on here.

I sure hope he returns, he's a greatly missed author. The Rise of Azkoval is waiting to be finished :) A great story with lots of action, adventure, and humor.
I refused to start that because it was unfinished and I didn't know if it ever would be. Hope he comes back with something new and finishes that one.

That's one of the reasons I don't start reading unfinished stories anymore. Nowadays you even have to be careful starting to read a complete story only to find out it really finishes with book 3 or so :)
At least on SOL they tell you when something is incomplete. On Lit there are so many incomplete stories and no way to know until you get to the abrupt ending. Drives me a little nuts. :)
I've adopted the same rule and try to determine if a story is complete before I start it.
Agree. Sometimes before starting a story that looks like its complete, I'll jump to the last sentence or paragraph to verify. (Especially in that other site.) Sometimes I dont want to get trapped between books. Didn't come up with that one until I got hooked on Kraken's Robledo series!
