I am currently reading a story from 2008 that has sex with a nine to twelve-year-old. It was written by one of my favorite authors, and I was surprised by the ages of the characters.
What year did the 14-year-old limit start, and will the censors attack the site for stories from before that limit was set?
SOL is based in Canada. Canadian Law was changed to include written stories under the child porn law in 2005. I believe that's when the age 14 rule was instituted. However, stories are not reviewed in detail before posting and Lazeez is dependent on readers reporting violations when they occur.

The change took place in 2011. Stories from before that are allowed to have under 14 sex.

The older stories are considered 'grandfathered' in, as they WERE legal at the time written.

Unless he had repeated violations, nothing worse would happen than Lazeez taking the one story down.
And Lazeez would review the story to confirm the violation and he would know if it was grandfathered or not.
It isn't as simple as no mention of sex with under 14s. For example Kelly85 has detailed ascene of her masturbating her father when she was eight. Those scenes/stories get deleted. She mentions the incident in many of her other stories in a casual way, "I masturbated dad whe. I was 8". Those mentions comply with the rules.

The rule is no graphic descriptions of under 14s in sexual situations.
You can mention it happened, but you can't describe it in detail.
That includes nudity. If you have a story set in a nudist colony, you can mention that an under 14 is nude, you can't describe what they look like nude.
What's graphic is a judgment call. There's another scene that's "not graphic" but one of the comments was how much the scene turned him on.
