The only issue is when you have the 'woke' wankers who are working so hard to redefine the meaning of words. Take the word Antifa which was created back in the 1920s and was created by the Italian Communist Party who were in favour of a single worldwide communist style socialist government and were against Italian Fascist Party who wanted a nationalistic based socialist government. Both groups had very similar agendas with a socialist base with the two main differences being that the Communists wanted (a) a single world government and (b) total government control of all aspects of the economy while the Fascists wanted (a) a national government putting Italy first, and (b) some privately owned businesses in certain sectors of the economy, mostly for small businesses that were family run.
Sadly, the people who go around claiming to be Antifa today are extreme socialists who behave like the Nazi thugs did in the 1930s in attacking everyone who doesn't immediately agree with them.
Correct. In fact, Benito Mussolini actually helped develop the National SOcialist concept after he was essentially excommunicated from the Italian Communist Party because he supported Italy becoming involved in WWI. He was one of the national leaders at the time, and published their official newspaper.
And they were already fighting supporters of the Weimar Republic in Germany, when the NSDAP was little more than a drinking group. And once they started to become a movement, they of course turned their anger towards them as well.
The SA (forerunner of the SS) actually started originally because the early proto-Antica members would go to their rallies and attack them. And it was not just the NSDAP, they attacked any group that was not the German Communist Party.
"Anti-Fascist" was always just a propaganda name. In realty, they attacked anybody that was not hardcore Communist. And even other Communist groups if they thought they were too soft.
