First thing this A.M. I awake to this headline on the BBC: "Why Australia is in hysterics over Navy Twerking!"

It seems the conservative lawmakers in Australia are having a meltdown over a group of women dancers who BARED THEIR LEGS and SWIVELED THEIR ASSES in front of Oz's newest & proudest warship!

Outrageous! Inappropriate! Unseemly & Provocative! the Conservative lawmakers scream!

Given the proclivity of Ozian lawmakers to amend bills in secret prohibiting the discussion or even public display of writings concerning youthful sexuality, perhaps they'd be more satisfied if the dance troop consisted of Senior Ladies from the New South Wales Retirement & Knitting Society Home. In their ankle-length bloomers!

Nobody can write these things... they're too unbelievable. Only truth is more weird than fiction.

You can swap the word "conservatives" with the word liberals and end up with the same truths. The need for them to shout down, belittle, and silence views other than their own can be demonstrated clearly. The only real difference between them, is in how they go about achieving the same end result.

Too funny! And of course reading further the reporter lied...I mean "misreported" some of what happened.

When I was in the military and on duty overseas we had tour groups that came over and did shows like this. Great for troop morale!

Actually the people most vocal in their upset over this seem to be the progressive crowd who claim that the performance is degrading to women.
