I have a few ideas for a short Christmas story - I am curious if we want to start up something informal if nothing is planned?
I kind of want to revisit the whole "You will shoot your eye out" thing but have it involve masturbation instead of BB guns.
No plan for a Christmas contest. The last time we did (2017), only one author participated. So we had to cancel.
The site now has Events. They're like Contests, but authors organize them and they're usually by invitation. You set the title, and description who can submit stories, deadline, release date, etc...

Thank you for that function! I wanted to do something with Witcher for Netflix in anticipation of that series last year. I don't have much of a network of authors to work with to start an event. It turns out that with Witcher there wasn't many people interested in writing for that one either.
I did start on a chapter of a short Christmas story so I'll just publish that before Christmas Day! Thank you again.
I heard a snippey of a holiday song recently, made me think of a particular type of story... I mean, y'ever notice how much the one lyric sounds like "may all your Christmas sluts be White"? So obviously something interraciial, probably a gangbang with asian dudes if you look at some of the other songs...
So, I guess if we are interested we just have to sit back and wait for an invite?
In this case, someone has to emerge as the champion of the event to set it up and talk about it
