Do you feel more like an extrovert by living vicariously through your characters who may be much more bold/willing to embrace change/life?
I like to write a character who makes a brash, life changing decision while continuing my boring routine.

Damn... That brought back some memories. I bet it has been 25 years or more since I last picked up a Myth book. I collected those as they came out!
Probably more like Rosie O'Donnell and Andre the Giant.
I liked the covers that Phil Foglio did the novels. He's still cranking out comics, too. Girl Genius. (And I may have copies of the adult comics he did, too. Nothing quite like Phil and Dixie from 'Dragon' actually in the buff.)

Been a long time since I've read any of the Myth books, the description of Massha on the Wiki page for Myth Adventures is:
a woman of truly monumental girth with bright orange hair and a gaudy fashion sense
The orange hair makes it Rosey O'Donnell and Donald Trump.
