Personal score

Uther_Pendragon 🚫

You get an author's premium membership when the total of your stories size times score exceeds 5,000. (Lazeez expresses it differently.)
Well, My latest story, Purcell, was 760 K ad a current score of 7.13. That's the second story of mine to qualify all by itself.
I know that these aren't particularly long for SOL, but Purcell was posted over 9 weeks.

No idea, but normally your name also hyperlinks to your profile, which yours doesn't either.

My understanding is it only does that if you are using a pen name as your name on the forum.

I went and looked; I'd never noticed before.
Apparently, I'm "Uther Pendragon" on stories and Blog.
I'm Uther_Pendragon" on the forum. Most humans ouldn;t notice a difference. To software, they are entirely different. I don't know how it happened, and it is determined by machine now, when I sign in.

@Uther_Pendragon

For an author with one or more pen names, when you comment on the forum, you should see a Post As: which is a pick list of your account "nickname" name and all your pen names.

@Uther_Pendragon

The default is your nickname, if you select a pen name it automatically links back to that pen name's author page. The account nickname does not.

With mine, the nickname doesn't have the ', because it only allows letters, numbers, underscores, dashes and spaces.

The wording of you account nickname and your pen name can be changed if you want to.

to change Nickname you go Home page - My Account - click on the word Change on the same line as Nick Name then follow the on-screen prompts.

to change Pen name you go Home page - Authors/Editors - click on Pen Names - click on the magnifying glass icon on the right end of the line for the Pen Name you wish to change - click on Edit Author Info - enter the new name information in the Pen Name field - follow the on-screen prompts.

You can use the above to make them match with whatever you want to do.

You can use the above to make them match with whatever you want to do.

Not necessarily, the pen name allows punctuation and other special characters that the account nickname does not.

Also, I don't think even if you make them an exact match that it would fix the issue that using the nickname on the forum doesn't link back to the author page the way that using the pen name does. And the account nickname is the default.

Not necessarily,

I didn't say it was necessary, only it was possible and how to do it if they want to.

I didn't say it was necessary, only it was possible

Depending on what they want for a pen name, it may not be possible. I can't sync my nickname with my pen name because of the 's as the ' character is not allowed in the nickname.

a) does "looking" count?

b) not with him, but maybe at him.

I thought the Nick L line was pretty laughable.

He's still the Dick, but he can be humorous.

Enjoying anal sex isn't an open invitation to any little prick who thinks he's entitled...
