The Professional Porch Sitters Union. Now there's a philosophy I can completely agree with!
Never stand when you can sit. Never sit when you can lie down. I suspect most porch sitting is done in a chair or similar piece of furniture that keeps your butt off the floor (of the porch.) And a lot of porch sitting depends on the weather (not raining or snowing and fairly low wind intensity) and the temperature. If it is freezing or the temperature is so high you sweat just sitting there, Porch Sitting would need to be a Union job, well paid, to continue to sit.

Payment is not always in money ;)
Payment can be just getting out of the house and away from the noise inside.
In my case it's more staying inside to avoid the noise outside :D
